1. Data controller

The controller of the data collected through intermedia.gr is Konet, 5 Stefanou Veldemiri St., Sykies, 566 25 Thessaloniki, Greece, VAT EL153133759, Tax Office E’ Thessalonikis, General Commercial Registry (GEMI) no. 134646304000. intermedia.gr is a brand of Konet. For any matter related to your personal data you can contact us at digital@intermedia.gr.

2. Konet's Privacy Policy applies

Because intermedia.gr belongs to Konet, all terms of Konet's Privacy Policy apply to any processing of data through intermedia.gr and the Intermedia services, in addition to what is written on this page. Where this page sets out something more specific for intermedia.gr, the more specific provision applies.

3. What data we collect and why

The site does not require an account and does not sell online. Data is collected only in the following cases:

• Contact / quote form: full name, email, phone (optional) and the content of your message. We use them solely to answer your request and communicate with you about it (legal basis: pre-contractual steps and our legitimate interest in replying to whoever writes to us).
• Technical server logs: IP address, date/time and page visited, as automatically recorded by every web server for security and proper operation. They are deleted at regular intervals.

4. Cookies, statistics and Google advertising

For its operation the site uses technically necessary elements. In addition, through Google Tag Manager we use two services of Google Ireland Ltd: Google Analytics 4 for visitor statistics and Google Ads to measure and improve our advertising.

• What they do: they show us, in aggregate, how the site is used (which pages are read, on what devices, which source or ad the visit came from) and whether a visit from an ad led to contact (sending the form, clicking the phone number or email). Google Ads may also let us show our ads to people who have already visited the site (remarketing).
• What we do NOT send: the details you type in the form (name, email, phone, message) are never sent to Google. Only the fact that the form was sent, and its topic, is recorded.
• Which cookies they set: _ga and _ga_* (Analytics, up to 13 months), plus _gcl_* and Google advertising cookies (up to 90 days). IP addresses are not stored by Google Analytics 4.
• How to limit them: you can delete or block cookies in your browser settings, turn off personalised ads at adssettings.google.com and install the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.

5. Where the data is stored

The site is hosted on Konet's own infrastructure in a datacenter within the European Union (Frankfurt, Germany). Contact form messages are delivered to our company email and are kept for as long as needed to handle the request and any cooperation that follows.

6. Who it is shared with

Your data is not sold and is not shared with third parties for advertising purposes. Access is limited to our staff handling the requests, and to providers technically required for operation (hosting, email), who are bound by corresponding confidentiality obligations.

7. Your rights

Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) you have the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, portability and objection regarding your data. To exercise any right, email us at digital@intermedia.gr and we will respond as soon as possible, within the deadlines of the regulation. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Hellenic Data Protection Authority (dpa.gr).

8. Email marketing (marketing.intermedia.gr)

The Intermedia email marketing platform at marketing.intermedia.gr belongs to Konet and runs on Konet servers within the European Union. In brief:

• Roles: Konet is the data controller for the account and billing details of the platform's customers. For the contact lists each customer uploads, the customer is the data controller and Konet processes them only on the customer's behalf (Article 28 GDPR). Konet does not sell them, share them or use them for its own purposes.
• List origin: only addresses of people who signed up or are customers of the sender are allowed. Bought, rented or automatically harvested lists are prohibited.
• Tracking: the platform records the delivery, opens (through an invisible image) and clicks of each message, together with IP address, device type and approximate location, so that the sender can see the results of their campaigns.
• Unsubscribe: every message has an unsubscribe link that takes effect immediately. Anyone who unsubscribes cannot be added back by the sender, only if they sign up again themselves.
• Recipients of data: messages are delivered through an email sending infrastructure provider with processing within the European Union. No data is transferred outside the European Economic Area.
• Cookies: the platform uses only strictly necessary cookies, with no analytics or advertising.

If you receive messages from a business that uses the platform, contact that business about your data. To report unsolicited messages, write to us at support@konet.gr. Full details on the data, retention periods, cookies, security and your rights are in Konet's Privacy Policy, section 14.

9. Changes to this policy

This policy may be updated when the way the site operates changes. The date of the last update is always shown at the top of the page.
