The question we hear most often, and the hardest to answer with a single number. The truth is simple: a website costs whatever the job requires. A five-page brochure site and an e-shop with 2,000 products are not the same project, however similar they look on screen.
Why the quotes vary so wildly
In the Greek market you will find offers from €200 to €20,000. The difference almost always hides in three places:
- What is actually included. Copy, photos, translations, SEO foundations, performance. The “from €300” offer usually includes none of it.
- Who maintains it afterwards. A site does not end at handover. Updates, backups, security, small changes: all of that has to live somewhere.
- Who owns it in the end. The classic lock-in: the developer keeps the domain, hosting and access. If you leave, you start from zero.
The three project categories
Business presentation (roughly €800 - €2,500). The essential pages: home, services, about, contact. This is where your business gets judged on the very first search.
E-shop (roughly €2,000 - €8,000). Products, payments, shipping, invoicing. Cost is driven by the number of products, the integrations (ERP, couriers, banks) and how much automation you want.
Custom builds (from €5,000 upwards). Booking platforms, membership systems, internal tools. Here the price can only come out of a detailed specification.

The questions that separate serious offers
- Does the quote itemise cost per section, or is it one number?
- Whose name will the domain and hosting be in?
- What PageSpeed does it promise, and how will you measure it?
- What does a change cost after handover?
- Who answers the phone when something breaks?
If any of those answers are vague, the cheap site will end up expensive.
Where we stand
At intermedia every quote is itemised per section, with a clear timeline, and what is agreed, holds. Sites ship with a PageSpeed 90+ target, and the keys (domain, hosting, access) are yours from day one. See in detail what our website development includes. If you want a number for your own project, request a quote and we will price it honestly.
